The Somewhere 2 Sing Youth Choir is one of Hertfordshire’s only choir groups that cater specifically for young people. Based at a fabulous new performing arts studio at the Southern Maltings in Ware, the session has attracted young people from as far as Hitchin, Bishop’s Stortford and Welwyn Garden City.
Like our adult groups, the classes are informal, with high energy, high quality, professional tuition and high standards. We will always push and develop all members to achieve in a fun and positive way.
The material we sing is popular, with some interesting takes on familiar numbers. Members are taught singing technique, breathing, phrasing, how to improve range and articulation and will be encouraged to express themselves in performances, events and great opportunities throughout the year.
Although we don’t audition, we certainly would highlight that this is a tailored class for those young people who have a real interest and flair for singing.
If you’re interested, please complete the form and we’ll send you all the details and offer you a free taster session. We looking forward to welcoming you.
